Can You be a Volunteer?
Phoenix Youth Provision (PYP) are looking for Volunteers to join our team of passionate Volunteers who want to build good Youth Provision in Whittlesey and the surrounding areas. We work with young people 11-18 years, in youth support work and outreach. It’s an excellent time to join us and empower young people in our expanding area.

The role of Youth Work Volunteers is broad and varied. You may have skills and experience in areas that do not involve working with Young People directly but could be invaluable for the behind the scenes work that assists in the administration and development of PYP which could be completed in spare moments when you are at home.
- Our Volunteers work in teams who provide local young people with a club where they can go to meet each other and take part in various leisure activities.
- Volunteers may contribute to a range of other responsibilities such as planning sessions and activities, outings, fundraising applications, and administration.
- Volunteers are flexible and adapt to different situations and different activities.
- Help to plan and organise activities.
- Motivate young people to experience new activities and learn new skills.
- Be a cheerleader to encourage and support young people.

The PYP will offer support, supervision and training.
PYP is committed to safeguarding children, young people, vulnerable adults and the elderly. All postholders are subject to a satisfactory DSB (Disclosure & Barring Service) check where appropriate.
