Upskirting
Upskirting

If you or someone you know is a victim of upskirting, there are several steps you can take to get help and support:

  1. Report the incident to the police: Upskirting is illegal in many places, such as the UK. You can report it by calling 999 for emergencies or 101 for non-emergencies. You can also report it in person or online with your local police.
  2. Seek support from charities and organizations: There are various organisations that provide support to victims of upskirting. They can offer emotional support, legal advice, and help you navigate the reporting process. Some organizations to consider include Victim Support and Rape Crisis.
  3. Know your rights: Victims of upskirting are entitled to automatic protection, such as not being identified in the media. The police can help you understand your rights and guide you through the process.
  4. Talk to someone you trust: Sharing your experience with a trusted friend or family member can provide emotional support and help you feel less isolated.

Remember, you don’t have to go through this alone. There are people and organisations ready to help you. If you need more information or assistance, feel free to ask.
